3 CIRCLES
This week I want to highlight the 3 Circles method of sharing the Gospel and the Life on Mission App.
If you have been around Trinity very long, you have heard Pastor Mike and others reference and present this method. Just like anything else, it is best if you have mastered this presentation and write it out by hand. However, that takes a lot of practice. So until then, here are some great helps you can use.
First, if you have a smart phone the Life on Mission App is a great help for you to present the Gospel well step-by-step in the 3 Circles method. It is available for both iPhone and Android.
Second, we also have some in print booklets, which I actually prefer because I can then give it to the person I am sharing with to take home (plus my handwriting isn’t A+). Feel free to drop by the church office during the week or ask me for one on a Sunday (we can order more if we run out).
So why is this important? The Apostle Paul wrote to tell a young pastor Timothy:
“So don’t be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, or of me his prisoner. Instead, share in suffering for the gospel, relying on the power of God. He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.” “Be diligent to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who doesn’t need to be ashamed, correctly teaching the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 1:8–9, 15 (CSB)
God has chosen you to take the Gospel to people who don’t know Christ. We need to all be prepared to share the Gospel. There are many good Gospel presentations out there as well as using your own testimony. I pray that you would learn at least one (if you haven’t already) and begin to look for those opportunities that God puts in front of you.
